I am pleased that the information provided in my post on your ancestor John Polhemus was of interest. I included virtually all the material I have found that relates to my particular area of interest, the New Jersey Continentals and particularly the regiments officered by my Ogden and Dayton ancestors. Best regards, Tim

Dear Sir:
Your account of the story of John Polhemus was astounding to me.
He is my 5th Great Grandfather and I have been researching the Polhemus branch of my family tree back to Holland and Germany.
John's wife, Susannah Hart, was mother of Eleanor Polhemus who married John Axford. I am Kenneth Axford Wood II.

Any comment would be welcome.
