The Litchfield County Times had a very flattering profile of your humble blogger in last week's edition because of this very blog. For any of you enticed by the story and visiting Walking the Berkshires for the first time, you are most welcome to poke around this cabinet of curiosities and hopefully will find more than one thing of interest. This link offers a "best of" collection of past posts that give a flavor of what you are likely to find here. At the moment I'm blogging about Monhegan Island, which is 300 miles from the Berkshires although one does a great deal of walking there. I'm due for some local conservation posts, something on invasives - the dreaded black swallowort - and assorted historical ephemera. Do make yourselves at home.
Bravo, Tim!
