Nothing says "I Love You" more than a diamond-encrusted skull. All it will cost you is £50 million, assuming it is for sale. Artist Damien Hirst, best known for a work of art consisting of a tiger shark, cut in half, and suspended in two tanks of formaldehyde, has created a piece he calls "For the Love of God" using an 18th century skull and 8,601 diamonds.
"Art expert Charles Dupplin from specialist insurer Hiscox called the skull 'another bold move' from Hirst.
'This is a spectacular piece and undoubtedly the work with the highest intrinsic value in modern and contemporary art,' he added."

A truly "bold move" for an artistic work titled "For the Love of God" would be for someone to brick up Hirst behind a wall with a cask of Amontillado. A fool's cap with bells would be the piece de resistance.
