I've got a heck of a good day lined up today. I will spend the daylight hours with my oldest friend hiking in the misty redwood columns of Muir Woods, a place I haven't seen for over a decade, and then tonight I'll be here watching this guy do this. Factor in some of that outstanding Bay Area fare and a flight that doesn't leave for home until noon tomorrow,and I'm walking on air.
Welcome to the West Coast Tim! I am about an hour from Marin County here in Stockton. I am truly jealous that you get to see Richard Thompson. I saw him in Los Gatos 2 years ago and was knocked off my feet, the guy is brilliant!

Looking forward to some Muir Woods photos. Seems you missed a snow storm here, I am in Eastern Mass., so we got rain. Enjoy your trip.
