The much anticipated 14th edition of Cabinet of Curiosities is splendidly hosted at Damn Data, and under their excellent stewardship offers a veritable goblin market of goodies this month with a decidedly fey allure. Step into the faerie ring, and never mind the coffins in Arthur's Seat!

Dear Berks.,
I hope you have not yet purchased your musket. The 250th Battle of the Plains of Abraham ( battle of W+Quebec 1759), has been cancelled due to sensitivity issues ,nes pas ? It seems even the New World French do not appreciate history.
cordially,
David Corbett

Mon Dieu! And here we are giving Samuel de Champlain all due respect on the Quadricentennial of his discovery of the Lake that bears his name. I shall have to trot up to Fort Ti again this summer for the 250th anniversary of its loss by the French to Jeffery Amherst.
