My cousin Margaret, knowing of my mother's extraodinary quilting talent and my penchant for all things Green Man, kindly forwarded us this link to a fabulous Green Man quilt at Posted Stitches.

Hi there, and thanks for the link to Posted Stitches. I really enjoyed making this quilt, and I don't think it will be the last Green Man quilt I make. My father-in-law and his wife, Chris, collect all things Green Man related, and are aficionados of country churches and very long walks in West Yorkshire -- so, their cosy house, filled with Green Man art and ideas was a real inspiration for the way he looks and the symbolism of the wild man of the forest. He's a very English icon, and interesting to read about. All best, Bev

Hi-- I somehow found your blog from I think the Cliopetra awards. Congratulations! This quilt is beautiful and amazingly done! It also connects to one of my fave bands, XTC, who have a song "Greenman". I don't have a website yet, so here's their song. Keep up the great work
