Two of my mother Betsy Abbott's quilts were part of the Lowell Quilt Festival this month. One of them took third place. You can see "Praise for the Morning" (at left), and "Fidelity", her osprey quilt. Next stop for them is an international quilt show in Houston in late October.

Mom is far too humble about her talent and accomplishments. She has always been creative and artistic. In these freeform quilts she has found her medium, but she has always had her muse.
