...For our family and more than 15,000 Connecticut Light & Power customers since 10:10 p.m. last night when the front came through. There was a tornado one town to our east as well. We are fine, but shifting our frozen food to a freezer in MA until we get the lights back. A lovely, less humid day today, at least.



Thought the headline sounded familiar. Hadn't realized you were a Pat Travers fan. Spend much time in Toronto?

Lots of damage here. In fact, a breezeway connected to an historic building, The Lyceum', which serves as Alexandria's Visitors' Center was destroyed by a venerable oak. So were vehicles. Luckily, no one was injured.
