She's so cute Tim! Dancing is such a great activity for young people. My daughter danced at a local studio kindergarten through 8th grade and she too enjoyed it and did well at it. It polished her coordination and timing, taught her to work with others, gave her a great physical workout, gave her the confidence that comes from mastering something, and helped develop her love of music. I think the most wonderful thing about dancing as opposed to sports is you don't have to compete. I know there are dance competitions but we never went that route with our daughter. Dancing was just for shear pleasure. It's hard to find that with sports. Anyway, thanks for sharing your picture of Emily, and good for you for taking pride in her dancing!
