"In the spring a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love." Boooring! Instead of gathering rosebuds while ye may, it's time to gather your most unusual collections and specimens most passing strange and send your submissions to the 6th edition of Cabinet of Curiosities, hosted this month at the always fascinating Bioephemera!
CofC is a labor of love of an entirely different order (and kingdom, phylum and class as well). There is room in this cabinet for art and beauty and various shades of truth, but also the bizarre, the macabre, the wondrous and the unique. We are just as happy to learn about the piece of the Arch de Triumph your great grandfather collected as a specimen when touring the Continent as your collection of paper condom envelopes from the 1930s. One thing leads to another in the world wide wunderkammer.
The deadline for posts to this Carnival is noon on April 20th. You can send submissions directly to our host Jennifer at cicada AT bioephemera DOT com or via the handy submission form.
