Winner, Family Archive Caption Contest #10

This one, I fear, crashed and burned.

Congratulations to Janice Brown, who alone among the legions of gifted and talented humorists who read Walking the Berkshires found something remotely witty and amusing to say about the image I put forth for this episode of the Family Archive Caption Contest. 

Neither, alas, could I, so we'll try again the next time I take a dip into the vault.

The young beach goer in the image with the intact dirigible is, in fact, named John (my mother's cousin John Ogden), and was photographed at Point Pleasant, NJ in 1946.

I'm not sure why it was so difficult to come up with a funny subtitle for this photo. Normally I can produce several, and I have to hold myself back... it was a struggle to produce one!!

Anyway... thank you for the extra dubious, "crash-and-burn" honor heheh.
